21 Days Of Prayer - DAY 14

THEME FOR THE WEEK- My people
The second week we will pray for each other concerning all the people in our prayer partner's life and those they influence.  Pray for people they love, people they know and people who need to discover a real relationship with Jesus.

Verse's of the Day
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
"Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble."

Proverbs 27:17
"As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend."

We've all experienced seasons of life where God has used a person or friend to help us grow, help us get through a trial, or help us get closer to Jesus. From these verses it's clear that God strategically brings people into our lives and uses them to further the plan and destiny He has for us.  It may be to speak truth, it may be to reflect the father's unending love, it may be to provide support and care in a time of need. No matter the reason it's obvious that we were never meant to live life alone and it's through the people God brings our way that we grow, succeed, and ultimately fulfill our calling.

Prayer Points
* Pray that your prayer partner would be able to see and recognize the people in their life that God has strategically put there for his plan.
* Pray that nothing would stop or hinder them from being able to have true and lasting relationships with others. That there would be no insecurity or comparison that would keep them from engaging and opening up to people.
*Pray that they would see themselves as conduits of God's love and growth to the people around them and that they would seek opportunities to "sharpen" others and help them succeed.

Prayers To Pray
* Father I thank you for the plan and destiny that you have for ______ and I ask that you would bring the right people into their life to help them fulfill that calling.
* Jesus I thank you that your will is for ______ to be whole and secure and that nothing would stop them from being able to allow others to speak into their life.
* God I thank you for the amazing commission that you've called us to and I ask that we would have a revelation that it's only through our relationships with each other that we'll be able to fulfill that commission.

21 Days Of Prayer - DAY 11

THEME FOR THE WEEK- My people
The second week we will pray for each other concerning all the people in our prayer partner's life and those they influence.  Pray for people they love, people they know and people who need to discover a real relationship with Jesus.

VERSE OF THE DAY
Matthew 11:28-30
“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Jesus makes a statement that reverberates throughout time and space and it beckons to all, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heaven burdens.”  Jesus cuts through all of the rhetoric and calls us directly to him. "Stop wondering, stop guessing, stop carrying it all and allow Me to take it from you."  Rest is not just an idea but a gift we receive when we truly surrender to Jesus.  We must learn to trust Him to carry what we can’t on our own and give us the ability (yoke) to change that which we can- that is real Rest.

PRAYER POINTS
    •    Pray that they go to Jesus. That Jesus isn’t just something we talk about on Sunday but their real Savior and burden carrier.
    •    That every heavy thing they carry, pray they would be able to release it.  Many times we carry things around so long we don’t know how to let them go.
    •    Declare rest as a real thing that Jesus gives.  Pray for rest in their mind, rest in their emotions, rest in their heart and rest in their body.
    •    Pray they begin to learn from Jesus and grow in their ability to see what they should or shouldn’t carry.

PRAYERS TO PRAY
    •    Jesus I pray that ________ would go to you and see you as their Savior and burden carrier.
    •    Lord help __________, give to you that which weighs them down and allow them to surrender.  Help _________ to trust you everyday.
    •    Father I ask for rest upon _________ in every area of their life. When they sleep, they sleep soundly, when they are awake, they walk in peace.
    •    Lord help ________ to learn from you and understand what you want them to change.
