21 Days Of Prayer - DAY 8

THEME FOR THE WEEK- My people
The second week we will pray for each other concerning all the people in our prayer partner's life and those they influence.  Pray for people they love, people they know and people who need to discover a real relationship with Jesus.

VERSE OF THE DAY
Ephesians 3:14-18
When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”

There are many times when we are dealing with others that we might feel helpless and feel we have nothing to offer them.  The good news is we serve a God, the creator of the universe, who is not helpless. It is God who empowers them and gives them strength through his Spirit.  It is our job to pray that they find their Home in Christ and that His incredible love gives them roots so they can be strong.

21 Days Of Prayer - DAY 7

THEME FOR THE WEEK- My people
The second week we will pray for each other concerning all the people in our prayer partner's life and those they influence.  Pray for people they love, people they know and people who need to discover a real relationship with Jesus.

Verse of the Day
2 Corinthians 5:16-20
"So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, 'Come back to God!'."

For some of us it may be difficult to view ourselves as equipped or qualified to be able to influence the people in our lives. Through our own eyes we may only see past mistakes or sin, short comings or wrong turns. But I am so grateful for Jesus and that through him we've been made new, fully righteous and fully equipped to be "ambassadors" for him to the world around us. Your salvation wasn't just for you, it was for the people that God has put in your life. It is "Christ in you, the hope of glory".

Prayer Points
* Pray that your partner would have eyes to see themselves the way that Christ sees them
* Pray that they would seek forgiveness through Jesus to be able to walk fully righteous in Christ
* Pray that they would be filled with boldness and courage to deliver this "message of reconciliation" to the people around them
* Pray that would fully experience this new life that they have in Jesus

Prayers to Pray
* Jesus I pray that you would give _____ the eyes to see them self the way that you see them.
* Jesus I thank you for the new life that _____ has in you. And I ask that they would be filled with boldness and grace to walk fully in that new life today.
* Jesus help ______ live as an ambassador for you here in this world. Let _____ be a light and an influence wherever they go today.

21 Days Of Prayer - DAY 6

Theme for the week- MY LIFE
The first week we will be focused on praying for our prayer partner and anything that concerns their personal life.  We can give each other personal prayer requests that have to do with our heart, our mind, our life, our concerns and our needs, believing that God will answer!

VERSE OF THE DAY
Philippians 4:6&7 (NLT)
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

Worry can be very real, directly impacting our emotions and perspective.  It usually keeps us from moving forward and hinders our ability to see clearly. Today we bring everything to God- we pray it out!  We give it to Him, and in return, He gives us something much better: PEACE.  Peace is not based on the situation changing but on HIM.  He is our Peace and this Peace does not leave us but guards our hearts and minds so that worry and fear can no longer have a hold on our life.

PRAYER POINTS
    •    Pray that worry and fear does not take hold of your "prayer partner's" mind, heart or spirit.
    •    Whatever the situation, declare Jesus is their peace.
    •    Pray that peace will change the way they think and act.
    •    Spend some time thanking Jesus for what He has and will do for them.

PRAYERS TO PRAY
    •    I declare in Jesus' name that worry and fear will not take hold in _______'s life.
    •    Jesus, you are _________’s peace and I ask that they would experience your supernatural peace right now.
    •    Father, I pray that your peace would change their mind and actions.  Help them live in your peace today.
    •    I thank you Jesus that you have never failed anyone throughout time and you will not fail _________.  Let them be secure today in that and be able to see Your perspective in every situation.
